I’m going to go through the rest of our trip in this post.
On the Wednesday we started our day at the Sea Life Centre which was brilliant. This was also part of the Big Ticket and again, was bigger than we expected. The underwater tunnel was brilliant, as was the rock-pool. The sea horses were my favourite!
We had a nice walk along the beach and a drive along the front before dinner. To finish the evening we decided to drive the illuminations again.
On Thursday we started the day at Sandcastle Water Park which was okay. It cost nearly £50 for just the two of us and after about 2 hours we were ready to leave. The pools were fun. We enjoyed the tidal pool and little river rapids. We got the spa tickets and spent time in the aromatherapy room, on the heated lounger and foot spas but I have to say, it was fun but not worth that much money.
After we went to Harry Ramsdens at the Tower for lunch (which was lovely) and then had a wander round the shops. We had an early night, after of course going to a local pub to watch the football (for him, not me!).
We spent an hour or so here and there throughout the trip at Coral Island which is a huge arcade on the front. I would really recommend it. There’s games for all ages and there’s a couple of rides in there for children and a few places to eat in there too.
A great few days break, I would really recommend Blackpool to all ages, whether you have children or not.
